Pro Tips

  • â€ĸCarry a traditional dress in your bag even if you are wearing western attire — you can change at the cloakroom area.
  • â€ĸAvoid wearing black clothing — while not strictly prohibited, traditional customs prefer lighter and brighter colors for temple visits.
  • â€ĸFootwear must be removed before entering the temple. Wear slip-on footwear for convenience, especially in the queue.
  • â€ĸShops near the temple sell affordable dhotis, sarees, and traditional clothing if you need to purchase on the spot.
